Shachi Kale is also a reputed alumnus of Sophia Polytechnic in Mumbai. She majored in illustration and shone throughout college as a brilliant, award-winning illustrator. She continued to apply her superior talent as a designer at Enterprise Nexus Advertising. After a 3-year stint in advertising she partnered with Anisha Heble to start Ka Designs. She has worked on a series of children's books with New York based writer Sohaila Abdulali. She moved to the United States after marriage and continues to illustrate children's books.
